Concrete contractor lead generation

Google first, without the badge. Meta for the reveal.

Google has no Local Services Ads category for concrete, so nobody in your town has the badge and the fight is Search and the map. A search lead pays for itself on one driveway; Meta comes second for the demo-to-pour video.

  • Search by finish and job type, landing on the cost page for that town
  • Home improvement search runs about $8.33 a click and $90.92 a lead (LocaliQ, 2026), a fraction of a $6,400 average driveway (HomeAdvisor, 2026)
  • Meta at $30 to $60 a lead for concrete (Richey, 2026), for the timelapse and the stamped reveal, launched before the thaw

Concrete contractor leads come from Google first, through Search split by finish and the map, because the demand is already typed in and a search lead costs a small fraction of a driveway, and from Meta second, where demo-to-pour and stamped-reveal video reaches homeowners before the spring rush. There is no Local Services Ads category for concrete.

Captured, not created

A concrete lead is a homeowner who looked at a cracked, heaving slab, or a house they are about to sell, and searched. “Concrete contractors near me” sits in one of the largest search buckets in home services and every driveway autocomplete leads with cost (Google, observed 2026-09). That is demand written down, and the cheapest lead in any trade is the one who told Google what they wanted. Home improvement search runs about eight dollars a click and ninety a lead in the 2026 cross-client benchmark (LocaliQ), against a typical driveway of several thousand and stamped jobs into five figures. One close pays for the month.

Agency benchmarks for concrete specifically range widely and are self-serving in both directions, so the cross-client figure is the one on this page and your own number replaces it from the first week.

Google first. The numbers behind the verdict.

Why it comes first
Demand is captured, not created: 'concrete contractors near me' sits in the 74,000 a month Keyword Planner bucket, every autocomplete for 'concrete driveway' and 'driveway replacement' leads with 'cost' and 'near me', and simple transactional local queries still return the map pack rather than an AI Overview. At $8.33 a click and $90.92 a lead for Home and Home Improvement (LocaliQ 2026) against a $2,700 to $14,500 ticket, a search lead pays for itself on one close, and buyers decide within minutes, so speed and geo precision beat reach. Google Ads, cost per click
$5.31 (contractor-specific, Richey Jan 2026) to $8.33 (Home and Home Improvement, LocaliQ 2026); Home and Home Improvement cost per lead $90.92 at 8.05 percent conversion; Richey reports $165.67 average cost per lead for concrete at 2.61 percent conversion, $94 to $120 when optimised (localiq.com and richeyconsulting.com, 2026)
Meta, cost per lead
$41.26 Home and Home Improvement lead campaigns at 5.22 percent conversion (LocaliQ/WordStream 2025); $30 to $60 for concrete contractors (Richey Jan 2026) (localiq.com and richeyconsulting.com, 2026)
Local Services Ads
Confirmed: Google's US Local Services Ads list has no Concrete, Driveway, Paving or Masonry category as of September 2026. Closest categories: General contractor (a June 2026 category guide reports a Foundations/Concrete toggle among its sub-types; verify in the account) and Foundations pro. Reported lead pricing for General contractor: $40 to $100 (Blue Grid) or $60 to $150 (PushLeads, Mar 2026). LSA management is migrating into Google Ads through 2027.
Second channel
Meta delivers Home and Home Improvement leads at $41.26 (LocaliQ 2025) and $30 to $60 for concrete specifically (Richey 2026), less than half the search cost per lead, and before and after and stamped-reveal creative is the natural format for a visual product, but leads need nurturing and it cannot be the only channel for a 25-year purchase.

No badge, so the map and the reviews do the trusting

Google’s Local Services Ads list has no concrete, driveway, paving or masonry category as of September 2026, which means no competitor in your town carries the Google Verified badge for this work, and neither can you under your own trade. Where it fits, we enrol under the General contractor or Foundations category, which the trade’s own guides report as the workaround. Otherwise the fight is Search and the map, and the map is won by the profile: pours photographed by finish, reviews that name the finish and the town, and the same name and phone everywhere.

Meta, for the reveal, and the calendar for both

Concrete is a visual product with a natural video: the old slab coming out, the forms going in, the pour, the stamp, the reveal. That creative runs two to three times the engagement of text in the trade’s reporting and comes in at thirty to sixty dollars a lead for concrete (Richey, 2026), below the search benchmark but with leads that need nurturing before a five-figure decision. It launches in February and March so it is warm before the thaw, and it retargets everyone who read a cost page. Every lead from every channel gets a text within minutes, because the trade’s own data says buyers decide within minutes, and the follow-up runs until they book or say no.

  • Search by finish and job type, landing on the matching cost page
  • The LSA workaround category where it fits; the map and reviews otherwise
  • Meta demo-to-pour and stamped-reveal video, launched pre-season
  • Retargeting of everyone who read a cost page
  • Weekly cost per lead and per quoted job

Questions about lead generation for concrete & driveways companies

Is Google or Facebook better for concrete contractor leads?

Google first. The buyer has already typed the cost question, and a search lead costs a small fraction of a driveway. Meta second, for the demo-to-pour video and retargeting.

Can a concrete contractor run Google Local Services Ads?

Not under concrete; there is no such category as of September 2026. Where it fits, enrolment under General contractor or Foundations is the workaround, and we handle it.

What does a concrete lead cost?

The 2026 cross-client benchmark for home improvement search and the Meta ranges for concrete are on this page with their sources. Your own cost per lead and per quoted job is reported weekly.

Why not buy concrete leads from a marketplace?

Because they are shared with several contractors and close one in ten or worse, which makes the cost per closed job several times what Search delivers.

What does concrete lead generation cost to manage?

$750 a month per service area plus your ad spend, paid direct. One concrete contractor per service area, first come first served, while you are a client.
