One call about ants can become four visits a year.
Most residential pest revenue is recurring, so the first treatment is where a plan begins. The system answers that call while the bugs are still in sight, then stays in touch through every pest season.
- Be the name found for pest control near me open now
- Give termites, mosquitoes and rodents their own season
- Offer the quarterly plan on every first visit
Pest control sells a plan, and the first call starts it. The site gets a priced page per pest, each showing your license. Local Services Ads and Google search catch open now and for mice searches. Facebook carries seasonal offers. Each inquiry gets a plan offer in follow-up.
Three pest seasons, three budgets
Termite swarmers appear in spring, triggered by warmth and rain (University of Kentucky, 2026). Coalmarch Marketing saw its pest clients' strongest Google months from July to September and their weakest in December (2025 data). Fall pushes mice indoors, and NPMA estimates rodents invade 21 million homes each winter (2024). Each gets its own ads and offer.
Put the license where the ad points
EPA says many state agencies require certification for any commercial pesticide use, and Texas bars a pest control business from advertising until its license is issued (Texas Department of Agriculture). So your license number, certified applicator and insurance go on every pest page, beside a plain answer on pets and children, which top Google's suggestions after is pest control safe.
Your pest control company gets the same system we run for our home-service clients: the website, the ads and the follow-up. The work below is theirs, and each piece names the client’s trade.

“I highly recommend To The Max Media. He did an excellent job redesigning my website and rebranding my business, and I'm very happy with how everything turned out. He's also managing our advertising, and we're already seeing great traction and positive results.”
A few things you might be wondering
Which pest leads cost less, Local Services Ads or search?
In 2025 data from Coalmarch Marketing's pest clients, a Local Services Ads lead averaged $96 and a search ad lead $148, as the average click rose from $9.81 to $14.47. Organic search leads cost $44. Businesses that pass Google's screening carry the Google Verified badge.
How do pest ads avoid DIY and game searches?
With negative keywords. Start typing pest control into Google and the suggestions include a video game, costumes, a warehouse store, jobs and products at Home Depot and Lowe's (Google autocomplete, 2026). Bids go on a pest plus near me, open now or a price.
Should a pest control site post plan prices?
Ranges help, since people ask the cost per month and for roaches, mice or bed bugs. Price guides put quarterly plans at $98 to $178 (Fixr, 2025) and bed bugs at $1,000 to $4,000 (This Old House, 2026).
What do homeowners want before a termite contract?
Time to compare. The University of Kentucky tells them to call a few companies and compare inspections, and says the result depends on the technician who does the work. Warranties usually depend on an annual renewal. A page on your inspection, treatments, technicians and renewal terms answers that first.
Do you take on pest control companies?
Yes. It is the build our home-service clients get, a website, ads and lead follow-up, aimed here at the pest calendar, licensing and plans. The proof on this page names each client's line of work.

The pest control year, and where the money is
Researched, not guessed. Every line names where it came from.
- Peak
- Summer. Coalmarch Marketing, which serves pest and lawn companies, saw search demand for its pest control clients build through spring and peak in summer, with its strongest Google Ads months from July to September (coalmarch.com, 2026 report on 2025 data). NPMA's 2026 spring and summer forecast expects termites, ticks, mosquitoes and ants to rise with warm, wet weather in several regions (mypmp.net, Mar 2026).coalmarch.com
- Shoulder
- Spring brings termite swarmers, triggered by warmer temperatures and rainfall (University of Kentucky, 2026). Fall brings rodents indoors as temperatures drop: NPMA estimates rodents invade about 21 million homes each winter and marks Rodent Awareness Week in October (pestworld.org, 2024).
- Quiet
- December. Conversion rates on Coalmarch's pest control clients' Google Ads fell to their lowest, 5.94%, as pest activity slowed (coalmarch.com, 2026 report). Winter is quieter, not empty: 'do i need pest control in the winter' is a Google autocomplete suggestion (2026), and NPMA says rodents invade homes through the winter (pestworld.org, 2024).
- What triggers a call
- seeing the pest: Google suggests 'for roaches', 'for mice' and 'for ants' after 'pest control near me' (Google autocomplete, 2026); winged termites indoors, which the University of Kentucky says almost always indicates an infestation warranting treatment (entomology.mgcafe.uky.edu, 2026); a home sale ('termite inspection for home purchase' and 'termite inspection for va loan' are autocomplete suggestions, 2026); cooler weather pushing mice and rats indoors (pestworld.org, 2024); a wasp nest near the house ('wasp nest removal near me', autocomplete, 2026); bites with no clear cause ('bed bug bites' leads the autocomplete suggestions for 'bed bug', 2026)
- Typical residential job
- $50 to $500 for most one-time visits, averaging $171 (thisoldhouse.com, 2026); $98 to $178 on a quarterly plan (fixr.com, 2025); $700 to $2,000 for typical termite treatment (thisoldhouse.com, 2026)thisoldhouse.com, 2026
- Comes back
- The core of the business. NPMA, reporting Specialty Consultants data, says recurring revenue was 85.4% of residential pest control service revenue in 2025, across nearly 13.29 million residential customers (npmapestworld.org, Apr 2026). Fixr prices quarterly plans at $98 to $178 (fixr.com, 2025), and the University of Kentucky says termite warranties usually depend on keeping an annual renewal (2026).npmapestworld.org
Google first for pest control. Here is why.
- First channel
- People search when the pest shows up, and many want someone now: 'pest control near me open now', 'exterminator near me for mice', 'pest control near me for roaches' (Google autocomplete, 2026). Google lists Pest control as a Local Services Ads category (business.google.com, 2026). Across Coalmarch's pest control clients in 2025, Local Services Ads leads cost $96 and Google search ad leads $148, while organic search leads cost $44 (coalmarch.com, 2026 report), so the site's own pest pages count as well as the ads.business.google.com
- Second channel
- Meta comes second, for seasonal offers and reminders to people who already visited the site, the way Coalmarch describes its paid social work for pest companies (coalmarch.com, 2026 report). Facebook lead campaigns in Home and Home Improvement average $42.95 a lead (localiq.com, 2026).
